And here we have them, starting with the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers from $179 per night, the Affinia Chicago from $189 per night (love those Land’s End pajamas they provide), Swissôtel Chicago from $189 and the InterContinental Chicago from $234 if you’re looking to really treat yourself right!

Drinking Cheap In Chicago, Illinois

chicago-bars-cheap-drinksGridskipper had a great post last week that featured the best places to drink cheap in Chicago, Illinois and we thought we’d share that great info with you.

Drinking at the bar is never an inexpensive feat and that’s what makes this post all the more beneficial for all you drinking buddies.  So, here it is, the secret to drinks under $5 in Chicago.

Snickers on N State Street will tempt you with their grilled cheese sandwich, kamikaze shot and a couple of selections on the olde juke box, all for $5.  You’re surprised, aren’t you?  Well, the fun doesn’t stop there.

We’re heading to the Redwood Lounge on S Wallace where you can buy $2 bottles of Old Skye and still have some change for the juke.

Next it’s off to the Falcon Inn on E 33rd where you can enjoy pints of AmberBock for $1.50 and slices of pizza for just $1.75.

Finally, The Mutiny on N Western calls and it’s time for $3.50 beers and maybe some ear plugs for those local over-amped bands.

All in all, you can still drink cheap, it just takes a little poking around.
